Shipping policy

Standard Delivery

  • Cape Town Delivery: We offer local delivery within Cape Town for a fee of R55, serviced by Fastway. This includes areas such as the City Bowl, Atlantic Seaboard, West Coast, Southern Suburbs, and Northern Suburbs.
  • National Delivery: For delivery across South Africa, we use Pudo, powered by The Courier Guy, at a flat rate of R110.

You'll receive a tracking number to monitor your package's location once your order is ready for dispatch.

Free Pickup

  • In-Store Pickup: Choose In-Store Pickup at checkout if you'd like to collect your order directly from our store - or if you prefer to arrange your own courier service. We'll notify you once your order is ready for collection.

  • Arrange Your Own Courier Collection: If you’re sending your own courier, simply select the In-Store Pickup option and reach out to us via phone or email with the courier details. This helps us prepare your order for a smooth handover.

Product Badges

Keep an eye out for special product badges.

  • Quick Dispatch badges: Items with Quick Dispatch badges are ready for delivery in our warehouse, ensuring shorter delivery times.
    • Main City delivery time for Quick Dispatch items typically takes approximately 2 to 4 working days.
    • Remote / Outer region delivery time for  Quick Dispatch items typically takes approximately 4 to 7 working days.
  • Special Order badges: If an item has a Special Order badge, it means we are awaiting stock from the supplier's warehouse.
    • Delivery time for Special Order items typically takes approximately 7 to 10 working days  depending on your location.

    Where to Send Your Orders

    • Please provide a daytime physical address for delivery.
    • Deliveries occur during regular work hours, Monday to Friday.
    • Feel free to specify delivery requests during checkout, or let us know if we can leave your package with a neighbour.
    • We ship within the borders of South Africa, so ensure accurate details for your address, suburb, and area code.

    Dispatch and Delivery Time:

    • Delivery times are approximate estimates, influenced by our suppliers and courier partners.
    • Once all items in your order are in our warehouse (typically 1 to 5 days, depending on stock location and cart contents), a confirmation email will be sent.
    • If there's a stock hiccup (like shrinkage, something being out of stock or discontinued), we'll let you know. You can switch it out, get a voucher, or a refund.

    Important Notes:

    • Typos and errors in your delivery address can impact delivery time and costs.
    • Shipping fees are calculated based on the order value before any discounts or deals are applied.
    • Our shipping policy and pricing may change without prior notice.
    • Pine Needles is not responsible for shipping delays out of our control affecting order delivery times.
